An all-star panel of international business and IP observers will be featured on the 2025 IP Awareness Summit® program being held at Dolby Labs in San Francisco on April 24th.
The four IP landscape speakers are among the leading names in the space. They are:
Danny Marti oversees global public affairs and policy at Tencent, one of the largest technology and entertainment companies in the world. At Tencent Danny serves as a member of the Tencent Americas Management Committee. Danny has had a career in both public and private service dedicated to IP and innovation law and policy. He served at the White House as President Obama’s U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator aka “IP Czar”.
Earlier, Danny served as Head of Global Government Affairs at London-based RELX Group (Elsevier and LexisNexis), a FTSE 100 provider of scientific, technical and medical information and analytics, legal information and decision-making tools. He has served as Vice Chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Global Innovation Policy Center.
Mark Cohen is Senior Technology Fellow Asia Society of Northern California and former head of the Asia IP Project at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology. Previously, Mark was Senior Counsel, China, in the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to that time, he served as Director, International Intellectual Property at Microsoft Corporation; Of Counsel to Jones Day’s Beijing office; and Senior Intellectual Property Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing (2004- 2008).

Joff Wild, Head of Content & Strategic Communications, Sisvel, is one of the best known and most experienced journalists in the intellectual property field. He edited Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine for fifteen years. He was also editor-in-chief of the London-based IP Media Group. Joff has specialized in covering IP since the early 1992.
He is co-creator of the IPBC events franchise and developer of the IAM Patent and WTR Trademark 1000, as well as the IAM Strategy 300 research guides. Joff has written on IP-related subjects for a range of publications including The Times of London, The Financial Times, the BBC News website and Euromoney.
